Blum was founded by Paula E. Vasco and Mariana González, two leaders who turned their personal journeys with mindfulness into a mission to transform workplaces from the inside out. Together, they combine years of corporate, educational, and wellness expertise to create programs that are both scientifically grounded and deeply human.
Before founding Blum, Paula spent over a decade building and scaling high-growth fintech startups, leading cross-functional teams, and driving strategic initiatives alongside executive leadership. Navigating the pressures of fast-paced business environments while managing personal family health challenges, she turned to mindfulness as a practice to cultivate focus, resilience, and leadership effectiveness.
Today, she leverages that experience to design strategic well-being solutions that align with organizational goals and deliver measurable results. Paula holds an MBA from Babson College and is completing a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Certification. Her approach is further shaped by advanced meditation training with Dr. Joe Dispenza and study with psychologists specializing in transpersonal psychology, bridging business strategy with holistic transformation.
With a background in education and a deep passion for emotional intelligence, Mariana has spent years designing transformative learning experiences for children, families, and teams. As both an educator and a highly sensitive person who experienced anxiety from a young age, she understands the importance of having access to practical mindfulness tools early in life. This personal and professional perspective fuels her mission to create engaging, accessible resources that support emotional well-being at home and in the workplace.
Mariana is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, meditation teacher, and holds a certification in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Her approach blends evidence-based mindfulness practices with real-world experience, empowering people to manage stress, strengthen focus, and cultivate balance. Guided by compassion and a clear vision, she helps individuals and organizations thrive with greater presence and purpose.
Paula and Mariana understand that well-being programs only work when they are realistic, evidence-based, and culturally aligned. Their combined expertise ensures that every Blum experience:
-Fits seamlessly into the demands of corporate life
-Delivers measurable impact on engagement, productivity, and retention
-Fosters a culture of resilience, connection, and growth
They don’t just teach mindfulness — they help organizations embed it into their DNA.
